Synopsis

The first feature-length animation film from Martinique depicts a future world with the destructive legacy of slavery still very much intact. It is 2100, and the empire of Mortemonde has colonised the Earth and enslaved its population. The slaves work a new sort of plantation, depicted as tense and violent video games. Every slave is forced to collect 1000XP every month in the game, Battledream. Syanna, a young woman, and an array of strong female characters refuse to keep living under this condition and decide to fight for freedom...
