A Woman’s Eye 180° more Event

Description

This program offer points of view of African women on the African societies in which they live. Because the world is a full circle of 360°, to see it without a woman’s eye is to restrict our field of vision. Through a compilation of short films, we show women’s stories from Tunisia, Senegal, Burundi, Rwanda and Mali. These films celebrate the diversity of an immensely rich continent from east to west, north to south, bringing stories of African women that are often little understood in a globalised world. It is an ode to this feminine force that remains standing even in adversity.
