Synopsis

24-year-old Mohammed is stuck in Mogadishu, but his wife and young son are living in East London. This heartfelt documentary follows Mohammed on a journey as he tries to find a way to reunite with his family. As an ex-member of Al-Shabaab, his connection to the Somali militant group makes coming to the UK near impossible, but staying in Mogadishu is equally hard as he faces danger from the organisation he left. This sobering film explores the complexities of immigration, extremism and the real impacts on the lives of ordinary people.
